Who are we?

Lost Paws is a group made up entirely of volunteers. All of the homeless animals you see listed are kept in the homes of a network of volunteer foster pet parents. The fosters are able to provide a more home-like setting than the animals would find in a steel and concrete municipal shelter. We rescue our animals mainly from high kill shelters where they are often on the list awaiting euthanasia to create room in those overburdened shelters. We rescue them from this fate in order to give them a second chance at finding a loving home and enrich the lives of their adopters.

Katie

At only 4 mos old Katie spent most of her life in a shelter. She and her litter were brought there at 4 wks old. Katie was the only one not eating on her own so was bottle fed. Her siblings got adopted. Katie was in a bottom cage in a corner so no one saw her. Finally a rescue volunteer took her out of there. She is a Maine Coon Mix. She is very active and playful. She is best suited in a home with another cat(s) to play with.

Hayle

Haley. I am a cute 1 yr old blue tabby with white girl who was a stray that was surrendered at a clinic. I love to talk with my foster person and curl up in their arms. I had a problem with my eye which left me with a permanent squint on one side, but this has not had any affect on my personality and temperament. I am a cute kitty who needs a second chance. Can you give me that chance?

Margarita

_MG_2675.JPG

Margarita had very difficult and painful start. She was found outside near her dead mom and ill sister. Her sister did not make it but Margarita pulled through. Not only was she incredibly malnourished but she had a cut on her paw which veterinarians had little hope to save her paw but once again this strong girl surprised everyone.
